“Thank you NEMI for the great experience! I started the class in late July early August with the online self paced cna program and then went rifht to the lab and labs skills. Right from the get go I was told everything I needed to know even about the clinical waiver which was is process. We were asked to sign a covid form which explained all the requirements that CT DPH set to graduate. The teacher Tymel and owner were great! The responsiveness was unbelievable!
Anytime I had a question or wanted to know when the waiver would be approved they told me the most up to date information. I even emailed the DPH to see what was taking so long and they explained it is a process and NEMI had no authority, like mentioned, to process our certificates until they received the clinical waiver.
Northeast Medical helped me attain my Temp NA to use for the mean time. The hands on skill training and the online were excellent! They go very much in depth about what happens in nursing homes and brings it to life by representing the nursing home with short video clips.
WELL TODAY IS THE DAY! I RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT THE WAIVER WAS APPROVED!
Now I can go and get tested at a prometric testing facility! I would highly recommend this school, they kept us safe during covid with their mandatory protocols and allowed me to attain my cna certificate of completion online!”
